Confessions of a Lonely Man

A Note from the Author:

"About this text, I will say very little indeed. It is an exercise in deliberateness and the text is filled with imagery, some of which might be comprehensible to readers in general and some of which is private. I attempted, despite introducing a werewolf into the story, to create an accurate portrayal of reality. In doing so, I was inspired by the literature covered in ENG 210, particularly "Long day's journey into night" and the short stories of Katherine Mansfield. I told the story from personal experience and the personal experiences of friends, though sufficiently disguised that the narration of their experiences might not be recognisable to anyone intent upon harming them. I hope that, despite drawing on other texts for inspiration, I have been able to create something original and impactful." - Izak R.
